A total of 108 FDI registered to increase capital by US$1.21 billion in July, up 5.2% compared to the same period last year, according to the Foreign Investment Agency.
This figure accounted for nearly half of the total added capital for FDI projects in the first seven months of this year.
However, the newly-registered capital volume in July only stood at US$437 million, sending the total FDI inflow in the first seven months to over US$8 billion.
July’s FDI disbursement reached US$850 million, making the total FDI disbursement in the last seven months to US $6.25 billion.
FDI enterprises continued to gain trade surplus of US$1.48 billion in July, raising the total figure in the recent seven months to US$6.14 billion./.
