Regarding economic relations between Vietnam and Indonesia, recently, at a meeting with President of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) Arsjad Rasjid within the framework of the State visit to Indonesia, President Nguyen Xuan Phuc emphasized Vietnam and Indonesia both have large populations, large markets and both prioritize intra-ASEAN cooperation, therefore the new two-way trade turnover of USD 13 billion is still low. The key point is that businesses of the two countries need to understand each other's market needs.
