Trade balance surplus of 10.6 billion USD after 11 months

In the first 11 months of the year, Vietnam's import and export turnover is estimated at USD 673.8 billion, of which exports of USD 342.2 billion and imports of about USD 331.6 billion. Thus, the balance of trade in goods has a surplus of USD 10.6 billion after 11 months.

According to the General Statistics Office, the export turnover of goods in November is estimated at USD 29.1 billion, decreased by 4% compared to the previous month and decreased by 8% over the same period last year.

Accumulated over the first 11 months of the year, export turnover of goods is estimated at USD 342.2 billion, an increase of 13% over the same period last year. In which, the group of processed industrial products accounted for 89%.

In the opposite direction, the import turnover of goods in November is estimated at USD 28.4 billion, increased bt 2% over the previous month and decreased by 7% over the same period last year.

Accumulated over the first 11 months of the year, import turnover of goods is estimated at USD 331.6 billion, an increase of 10% over the same period last year. In which, the group of production materials accounts for 94%.

Thus, the trade balance of goods in November is estimated to have a trade surplus of USD 0.78 billion. Accumulated over the first 11 months of the year, the trade balance of goods is estimated to have a trade surplus of USD 10.6 billion, while the same period last year had a trade surplus of USD 0.6 billion.

In the first 11 months of the year, the US is Vietnam's largest export market with an estimated turnover of USD 101.5 billion. China is Vietnam's largest import market with an estimated turnover of USD 110 billion.

Over 11 months, trade surplus to the EU is estimated at USD 29.4 billion, an increase of 42.4% over the same period last year; trade deficit from China of USD 56.9 billion, an increase of 14.1%; trade deficit from South Korea of USD 35.7 billion, an increase of 16.1%; trade deficit from ASEAN of USD 12.2 billion, an increase of 9.4%; trade deficit from Japan of USD 139 million (in the same period, the trade deficit of USD 2.3 billion).
